Pros
Pro The definition of emergent gameplay
The amount of features is basically endless and you can use wathever you have at hand to complete missions trough the city:
Money? Hire someone to do it for you.
A "Friends" ray? Hypnotize the bouncer and let him tell everyone that you're good to go.
A "Wall bypasser"? Teleport in, do your thing, teleport out.
A mine? Leave it at the front door and give it a knock.
A rocket launcher? Just blow it all up.
You're a Gorilla that can't talk english? Free your comrades from a lab and ask them to help you raid the place.
You have to kill a gangster? Lure him to a rival's territory and let the gang do your job
Cons
Con Lacks variety
While fun at first, and seemingly a lot of depth at first glance, you quickly realize this is not actually the case.
The floors are more or less the same, with the same missions in the same "no entry" rooms in which anyone who sees you attacks you. This makes non violent gameplay sometimes impossible.
The melee system is just not good, as the knockback mechanic will have you send enemies flying through walls all over the place. So if you wanna play "stealthy", forget about melee .
Weapons in general feels lacking, as nothing augments how you attack you are stuck with the few weapons there are every single run.
You basically have 3 melee weapons 3 ranged weapons, 2 non lethal weapons and a handful of others like traps, grenades and gadgets. All of which is easily obtainable every run and functions the same every run.
